Roberto Cavalli: J. Lo Baby Bump Outfitter Extraordinaire
We’ve known it for months, but fashion designer Roberto Cavalli has confirmed it: Yes, J. Lo is preggers. And he’s the one who’s dressing her.
In a chat with People magazine, Cavalli was asked what types of clothing he designs for celebrity clients, to which he answered a candid:
“Well Jennifer Lopez, at this moment, she requests something very special because she is waiting for the baby. It is so complicated because every week she is getting bigger.”
As for Cavalli’s special J. Lo creations, he’s designing a lot of loose-fitting and flowing outfits, since Jen is currently on tour with hubby Marc Anthony.
Cavalli adds:
“The thing about Jennifer Lopez, she is a singer, she is a dancer. Most of the time when I prepare something for the tour, the performer, they want something very soft so they can dance and so they can move free.”
While the big, flowy look is certainly a change from J. Lo’s regular uniform of gorgeous curve-hugging threads, we give her props for showing us that pregnancy can be a very sexy and stylish time. We think she looks fantastic and wish all the best to her and her new family.
