Hayden Panettiere has a beautiful face and I normally like her sense of style. But I didn’t love her look at the 2008 ESPYs Giant Event held at the J Bar and Lounge on Tuesday in Los Angeles.

The shiny orange and blue print gown that Hayden wore wasn’t bad in itself, it just didn’t flatter her at all. In fact, it swallows her.

Her face looks absolutely gorgeous here. She has fabulous features and a terrific natural beauty. Since Hayden is just 5 feet tall, a dress with a big print like this kind of overwhelms her frame. Petite women should stick with smaller prints. She’d also be much better off in something a little more fitted and perhaps something that doesn’t go all the way to the floor.

An ankle length maxi dress where she could show off some high heels or even a cocktail length dress is much better suited to her frame. Nevertheless, she’s a beautiful girl.

Justin Timberlake hosted the 2008 ESPYs, which was taped on Wednesday, July 16th but will aired on Sunday at 9:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.

On Tuesday, Hayden played her first single - “Wake Up Call,” on Ryan Seacrest’s KISS-FM radio show.

“They’re a little bit eclectic,” Hayden said. “[The music] changed so much over the years, just because my life experiences and who I am as a person is obviously reflected in the music.”

Tara Reid was out on the town at the Coco DeVille lounge in West Hollywood wearing a cute white mini dress. However Tara didn’t look as cute as the dress.

Obviously, the camera just caught her face at a bad moment because the subsequent photos, she looks much better. But I just have one question, “What’s with the hat?” Talk about out of place!

She ruined a perfectly good outfit by adding a colorful plaid cap. The plaid hat isn’t that bad itself. It might be cute with a casual outfit - a T-shirt and jeans maybe. But it certainly isn’t nightclub attire … especially with a white dress. I really don’t like her choice in jewelry with this dress either. The colorful beaded necklace, bracelet and anklet look cheap (though I’m sure they aren’t). Again, just a bit too casual for the dress.

I’ll give Tara some credit for her great shoes! Her bronze peep-toe pumps are really cute, even with her toes hanging off the end. This isn’t Tara Reid’s worst fashion disaster though. Remember when her boob popped out, showing her implant scar? I guess a bad hat and jewelry is nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Gossip Girl Blake Lively and boyfriend Penn Badgley were out and about having dinner at Nobu in NYC. Blake looks casual but very chic, as always, while Penn’s attire leaves something to be desired.

From top to bottom, there’s everything wrong with his look. From the rolled up sleeves on the his out of date plaid shirt to his flip flops. I don’t know about you, but I think flip flops should be saved for the beach. I’m not sure when it became cool to wear them to a public restaurant. Hopefully, the trend doesn’t continue.

Blake always looks stylish and maybe she needs to perform a fashion makeover on her man. If he had to wear shorts, maybe a polo shirt and some suitable shoes would have been more appropriate.

Again Blake looks fab and Penn … eh, not so much. At least he put on closed shoes. I have to say, Blake Lively’s puppy Penny is just absolutely adorable. The couple is often see hanging out with the cute little dog.

There comes a time in your life when no matter what shape you are in you can’t get away with wearing metallic spandex pants. Tina Turner that moment has arrived. While we loved seeing Tina singing Proud Mary with Beyonce as they say on What Not to Wear, let’s dress age appropriately from now on mkay?

I’m all for designers stepping out and trying new things but sometimes they just go a little over the line. Case and point these pictures from a Chinese fashion show where the women are seen wearing condoms, yes condoms.

I need to go AFK for a while there, sometimes there just isn’t enough coffee in the world to make things right. More after the jump

Ok I absolutely get the functionality pockets serve for letting you carry stuff, but on a wedding dress … c’mon people. I mean really it’s your wedding your supposed to be a princess, dammit if you need something carried those slaves helpful friends who are bridesmaids should carry it for you … right. Once we start down this dark road there’s no telling where it will end, I can see it now a groom’s tuxedo pants with cargo pockets for his iPod or Blackberry, lord help us all …

It seems that Vanessa Hudgens isn’t taking any chances after those nude pictures her slipped out on the internet a few weeks ago. Here’s a shot of Vanessa at a Fredericks of Hollywood Event wearing something that looks like … well … maybe a zebra if it was painted by Salvador Dali after eating some bad sushi or something … heck I don’t know. And it’s not like I blame her for those sappy songs High School Musical songs my nieces sing all day “… I want fabulous …”

OK this is actually so frightening it’s not funny, a new trend in Japan is extreme tanning, I don’t read Japanese but according to stories I’m reading the girls are going to tanning booths to get tans above and beyond. This just can’t be healthy, please let this die … quickly
