Is the sack dress making a comeback? Several designers including Alberta Ferretti embraced the style in the 2008 spring summer fashion show in Milan earlier this week.
I’m all for wearing clothes that are more comfortable, but if I’m already working with the drill instructor from hell my personal trainer to make sure I don’t look like an over stuffed stuffed potato when I wear a pair of skinny jeans, you better believe I want to show it off.

Jennifer Lopez has done it again. In the fall of 2007 she rolled out a new fashion line for juniors, Justsweet. The birth of this clothing line means the end of her JLO by Jennifer Lopez clothing, a very surprising move as this label has been considered the most successful clothing line created by an artist.
The palate for fall 2007 fashion has been selected and drab is a word that comes to mind. Black, grey, brown, and muted earth tones seem to be the colors of the season. Gone are the beautifully rich hues of nature, reminiscent of leaves and here for the season are the darker, more bland colors that tend to be neutral staples.
When Spring/Summer 2008 Fashion Week concluded in New York City, the Marc Jacobs show had attendees scratching their heads.
Here we are once more, staring down the gun-barrel that is winter. Sure, we could focus on the nasty weather that lies ahead, but when you’ve got the hottest fall skirt styles around, suddenly it’s much easier to enjoy the present. (more…)
I know it’s a little early to start worrying about next spring, but what’s a girl to do? According to the folks over at MyItThings, one of the hottest things for next spring will be a little white dress. They look really hot but, I just finished putting away my spring and summer wardrobe, so I’m so not ready to deal with that now …
