Fashion Designer Anand Alexander Says “Not Guilty”
Just one more reason for Dads to chain their daughter’s bedroom doors shut (with no computer inside) until they’re 35. Looks like pretty girls can’t even make a good living without sleezeballs trying to get into their panties. Sigh.
Now, it’s no secret that all is not right in the fashion world – or any entertainment biz for that matter. But jeez, when a celebrity fashion designer, a dude that that was named among Newsweek’s 20 up-and-coming players from various industries, gets charged with sexually assaulting 20 teenage girls and young women…we gots problems. Lots of them. These girls are, after all, not only from California, but various other states (eight in all) and two other countries. Nice. And he allegedly recruited them from the internet. Double nice.
Turns out Anand Jon Alexander, 33, allegedly lured the girls into precarious positions by promising them modeling jobs. Classy. He’s currently being held without bail.
Alexander’s highly-intelligent and on-the-ball lawyer, Anthony Brooklier, said that he believes the women are involved in a “collusion” against the designer. Yanno, I wonder if the offspring of defense lawyers come out of the womb knowing the word “collusion”. It’s like a lawyer’s go-to word when their scum bag client has royally effed up. “Oh, it’s…it’s a collusion. Yeah, that’s what it is. A collusion.”
Whatever. Alexander faces a lovely and un-fashionable life in prison if he is convicted on all of these lovely charges. He has a bail review hearing scheduled for November 7.
Ironically, Alexander has made the rounds of parties and fashion events over the years, rubbing elbows with other Celebrity Jailhouse clientele Paris Hilton and Michelle Rodriguez. Does anyone else see the great humor in that, or is it just moi?
In any case, luring unsuspecting chicklets into anything is not funny, so we hope if this douche bag is, in fact, guilty, he gets his just desserts…and a bright orange jumpsuit with handcuffs for accessories.
