Here we are once more, staring down the gun-barrel that is winter. Sure, we could focus on the nasty weather that lies ahead, but when you’ve got the hottest fall skirt styles around, suddenly it’s much easier to enjoy the present.
So what’s in your closet this fall? Long skirts? Short ones? Pencils? Plaids? Well, the good news is that this season, pretty much anything goes. In fact, if ever there was a time to bust out that pleated mini from fifteen years ago, it’s now - just make damn certain it doesn’t have that great big safety pin in it anymore (you know the one I’m talking about. I know you do.) If you’re one of those ultra-freakish organizer chicks who chucked all your duds of yore, then maybe you’re on the hunt for some new styles. Here, a few of our top suggestions:

Indigo Prairie Skirt by Vintage Denim

Marsha Full Skirt by Fossil

Toast Printed Mini by Libertine for Target
Aren’t these all just fab? At first I got a little nauseous when I saw that “The Prairie” was making a comeback, but then I remembered how practical those really are (much easier to pick up your dropped car keys in that versus a mini, no?). The colors of the Fossil skirt are perfect for fall (it also comes in gold) and the mini is just downright cute (however impractical).
If your closet isn’t boasting one of these styles quite yet, never fear. Just get shopping. Now.
