The jewelry trend for 2008 is a take on the old adage that less is more, but bigger is louder; and loud is good. Women (and men) are opting for less jewelry but the pieces they choose are bigger, more elaborate and make a statement.
A great example of the big and bold jewelry movement is the pieces designed by Stephen Dweck, a designer carried by Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and many other fine retail outlets. Dweck introduced his first collection in 1981 and was lucky enough to find immediate success and acceptance.
