Instead of a night out, maybe you have decided to have a night in for Valentine’s Day, spending some quality time with your sweetheart. If that’s the case, you should prepare for the evening with romantic food, candles, champagne and of course, lingerie!

Baby Doll
A baby doll is a short, sleeveless garment, often made from lace or silk. Baby dolls come in a variety of styles and levels of coverage. Some are loose while others are a little more form-fitting. However, they don’t cling the body tightly. Most baby doll gowns fall at the upper thigh and expose a little of your rear in the back. Some feature a partially open front, while others are like a mini-gown. Here are some of my favorites that are perfect for Valentine’s Day.

Bra
Of course you know what a bra is; you probably wear one everyday. But you should really add a special occasion bra or two to your lingerie collection. These bras may not be appropriate for the office, but they are great for a sexy evening at home.

A terrific choice for Valentine’s Day is the pink Diamond heart demi bra. It’s flirty, girly and just perfect for a romantic night at home. It’s $38 at Victoria’s Secret. If you are looking for something a little more racy, consider the heart lace two-piece set from Frederick’s, which has a black bralette with allover red hearts and a skong (skirt/thong) in the matching fabric with a sheer ruffle trim. Bustier or Corset
A bustier is a form fitting garment designed to tighten the midriff and push of the bust. Bustiers oftentimes contain boning to help shape your midsection. Many bustiers have garter straps to attach stockings for a sexy, exotic look. A corset is similar to a bustier, however it is normally a little longer and oftentimes with laces up the back.
