Salt Swimwear is a line of one-piece and two-piece swimsuits that was only developed in recent years by fashion designer Layla Pakzad. Even in the short period of time that this niche fashion line has been around, it has gained some serious attention from the media. This has been due in no small part to the fact that there are a number of celebrities who have taken a liking to the design and who can be seen spotted on the world’s most glamorous beaches wearing one of these swimsuits. Luckily for you, they’re not so outrageously priced that they’re designed for celebrities only so if you still haven’t gotten brave enough to purchase this year’s swimsuit, this might be a line that you’ll want to take a closer look at before the cooler weather is upon us. Most of women have a hard enough time being confident enough to go to the beach in a bikini, without being afraid of looking like a muffin topped Kirstie Alley on Oprah. We also hate the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition which always seem to find their way into our significant others briefcases.

What’s the latest … models without swimsuits, but body paint instead. That’s right 4 models spent 13 hours each while an artist painted bathing suits on there bare skin. While I do admit a certain amount of curiosity and envy at the ability to walk around naked while everyone else thinks you are clothed, I don’t think for a second I’d ever be brave enough to do it.
