Britney Spears left the B2V Hair Salon in Beverly Hills on Tuesday with fabulous new hair extensions. We have seen Brit with horrible looking hair in the past, so maybe she’s on the road to recovering her celebrity style.

Of course, she hasn’t pulled it all together quite yet. Her bra strap is falling down and her face doesn’t quite look it’s best. But really, let’s not nitpick. Her printed halter dress is very cute and her sunglasses look fab. And I love big white handbags - perfect for summertime.

Wouldn’t it be classic if Britney actually got her act together and starting looking and acting normal again? But really, what fun would that be?

Britney been so entertaining (yet sad) to watch over the last few years. She is going to be filming a video for a “virtual appearance” on the upcoming Madonna tour. So that’s why she’s trying to get her hair into tiptop shape. Good luck, Britney!

Tara Reid was out on the town at the Coco DeVille lounge in West Hollywood wearing a cute white mini dress. However Tara didn’t look as cute as the dress.

Obviously, the camera just caught her face at a bad moment because the subsequent photos, she looks much better. But I just have one question, “What’s with the hat?” Talk about out of place!

She ruined a perfectly good outfit by adding a colorful plaid cap. The plaid hat isn’t that bad itself. It might be cute with a casual outfit - a T-shirt and jeans maybe. But it certainly isn’t nightclub attire … especially with a white dress. I really don’t like her choice in jewelry with this dress either. The colorful beaded necklace, bracelet and anklet look cheap (though I’m sure they aren’t). Again, just a bit too casual for the dress.

I’ll give Tara some credit for her great shoes! Her bronze peep-toe pumps are really cute, even with her toes hanging off the end. This isn’t Tara Reid’s worst fashion disaster though. Remember when her boob popped out, showing her implant scar? I guess a bad hat and jewelry is nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Gossip Girl Blake Lively and boyfriend Penn Badgley were out and about having dinner at Nobu in NYC. Blake looks casual but very chic, as always, while Penn’s attire leaves something to be desired.

From top to bottom, there’s everything wrong with his look. From the rolled up sleeves on the his out of date plaid shirt to his flip flops. I don’t know about you, but I think flip flops should be saved for the beach. I’m not sure when it became cool to wear them to a public restaurant. Hopefully, the trend doesn’t continue.

Blake always looks stylish and maybe she needs to perform a fashion makeover on her man. If he had to wear shorts, maybe a polo shirt and some suitable shoes would have been more appropriate.

Apparently he’s a big fan of the plaid shirt and shorts look. Here is the twosome again a couple weeks ago.

Again Blake looks fab and Penn … eh, not so much. At least he put on closed shoes. I have to say, Blake Lively’s puppy Penny is just absolutely adorable. The couple is often see hanging out with the cute little dog.

Ugh! Can we somehow just get rid of leather pants from the fashion scene? If someone as hot as Anne Hathaway doesn’t look good in them, that should tell you something! I’m not sure if her pants are actually leather, pleather or something else tight and shiny. But whatever they are, they aren’t flattering.

Cute Anne Hathaway was leaving the “TRL” taping at the MTV Studios in New York earlier this week wearing this outfit. She starts out right with a black blazer over her white T-shirt. Throw on a couple of layered necklaces and a pair of oversized sunglasses … she was looking good so far.

But the leather pants really have to go. I’m not sure what decade leather pants were really fashionable, but it’s definitely not now. Cigarette pants, trousers, even jeans would have been a better choice.

I’m not too wild about her spiky stilleto sandals either. Many sandals have the thick wrap around the ankle this season, which isn’t a favorite look of mine. However, I’m sure they would have looked much better with something other than leather pants.

But the number one pinup girl of the war was Betty Grable. Her picture in swimsuit and high heels, taken by studio photographer Frank Powolny, outsold those of all her contemporaries. What was it about the blonde with the million dollar legs that was so popular? The ideal pinup of the day was pretty but not beautiful, sexy but not scary and saucy without being salacious. Grable, the box office queen of the 1940s, fit the bill perfectly. In a taped appearance on The Tyra Banks Show which aired on Wednesday, “American Idol” rehab queen Jessica Sierra revealed that she was raped back in Nashville a few years ago. In the interview, which was taped before she went to jail, Jessica explained that she didn’t reported the rape, but soon after begun heavily using drugs and alcohol.

She also revealed that during the “American Idol” auditions her mother overdosed on heroine and died. Jessica also talked in depth about her own drug use, a sex video and more.

Jessica, who is reportedly pregnant, was released from jail in Florida on Wednesday. TMZ is reporting that she was expected to fly to California to enter Dr. Drew’s Pasadena Recovery Center, but that her treatment has been denied for an undislosed reason.

Who knows what will happen next because part of her sentence was to be admitted to the facility for a year (plus three years of probation).

She had been in jail since December 1st after being arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. At that time, she was on probation for a previous incident in April when she was arrested for throwing a glass at a someone in a bar and cocaine possession.

In between those two arrests, she taped the VH1 series “Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew.”

Mischa Barton was arrested for DUI early Thursday morning in West Hollywood. The 21-year-old former star of The O.C. was pulled over shortly before 3am when her vehicle was “seen straddling two lanes of traffic and she failed to signal when making a turn,” according to an L.A. County Sheriff Department statement.

She was arrested for DUI, as well as driving without a valid driver’s license. Inital reports were that she was arrested with possession of illegal narcotics, as well. But it’s unclear at this time whether that is true or not.

Barton posted $10,000 bail and was released later in the morning. Add Mischa to the long list of celebs that were arrested for DUI in 2007. At least she looks decent in her mug shot!

Paris Hilton and her family spent Christmas at the Four Seasons Resort on Maui. As many people were freezing in the snow around the country, the Hiltons lounged in the sun on the beaches of Maui.

Here were see video footage of Paris walking down the beach with her family and entourage. I love her black and white bucket hat. It not only keeps the sun off her face, but it’s very fashionable.

Check out the video, where you will see Paris run into a local man who has named his parrot after her. He seems genuinely happy to meet Paris. But as you will see, some people in Maui weren’t so pleased to deal with Paris and all the hoopla that comes along with her.

A woman yells, “Here you are again? You just keep getting in my way. What’s wrong with you people!?”

Britney Spears‘ crazy behavior continued this weekend. She started her night by hopping out of her car to take a picture of a roadside mural. When the paparazzi swarmed around her snapping pictures while she was trying to take the picture, the bra-less and disheveled Britney went into a cursing tirade.

In the frenzy, she smashed a camera but it was her own. She lost her memory card and had to return to the scene to find it. A photographer found it for her.

She took off with a photog, reportedly racing at speeds of 120mph. Later that night, she was spotted once again with the photographer as she wore her bright pink wig, leopard mini-dress and torn fish net stockings into the Peninsula Hotel. The guy emerged at around 4am and talked to the paparazzi as he smoked a cigarette.

With all the talk of Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy, Britney is still managing to stay in the spotlight.

Another baby is on the way in the Spears family, but it’s not Britney’s. 16-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears, Britney’s sister, told OK! magazine that she is pregnant by her boyfriend Casey Aldridge. Jamie Lynn is the star of the Nickleodeon series “Zoey 101.”

Jamie told the magazine that she is 12 weeks along and broke the news to her mother Lynne just before Thanksgiving. “I didn’t believe it because Jamie Lynn’s always been so conscientious. She’s never late for her curfew. I was in shock. I mean, this is my 16-year-old baby,” Lynne said.

I guess Lynne realizes now that you can make babies before curfew too.

Lynne wasn’t the only one shocked about the pregnancy, Jamie Lynn and Casey were shocked as well.

“It was a shock for both of us, so unexpected,” Jamie Lynn told the magazine. “I was in complete and total shock and so was he.”

Though Lynne Spears said that Jamie Lynn has been dating Aldridge since high school, in a recent interview with the Associate Press, Jamie Lynn explained that she does not have a steady boyfriend.

“I kind of just keep my options open,” she said. “I have a bunch of friends that I always hang out with, a bunch of guy friends.”

So, what will happen to “Zoey 101?”

Nickelodeon released the following statement: “We respect Jamie Lynn’s decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn’s well being.”

The show will conclude its third season Jan. 4 with a cliffhanger episode in which Spears’ character must decide whether to leave her fictional Pacific Coast Academy boarding school in California to move to London with her parents. The shows producer says filming for the fourth season has been completed.

The Dec. 31 issue of the OK! magazine will hit newstands in New York today and around the rest of the country on Friday! I would have expected this story to come out in PEOPLE, but OK! is getting some scoops in recent months. They had the exclusive rights to the Eva Longoria-Tony Parker wedding too. They must have a lot of cash available!

Paris Hilton was seen dressed as a sexy version of Alice in Wonderland at a few Halloween parties this weekend. I would say something snarky and critical but I actually think Paris pulls this one off. Now not everyone can wear a light blue latex dress with white stocking and garters, but it’s Paris we’re talking about, so remembering to put on her underwear is an improvement.
