Clothing designer Sophie Young, founder of g=9.8, has created an underwear and lingerie line for both men and women that is really (honestly) made from wood. The wood fibers are extracted and then spun into a fabric, or Lenpur, that is reportedly as smooth as silk. (more…)

Super Model Claudia Schiffer is appearing topless on the cover of the latest edition of the German Version of Vogue. There seems to be quite a growing number of models and celebs who are willing to bare it all, overseas and on magazine covers, while the US version remains somewhat more modest. Black Eyed Peas front woman Fergie is the new pitch woman for Japanese Lingerie company Peach John. I know lots of people find Fergie attractive but for me she’s always bordered between crossdresser and transvestite, but hey a girl’s gotta make a living.

There’s something to be said for the sex appeal of European brands, especially Italian. Cosabella, which has been creating beautiful things since 1983 is a favorite amongst the starlets and celebrities of Hollywood. Founded by a husband-wife duo, the apparel is designed at the headquarters in Miami, but is handcrafted in Italy.
