Ever since Sex and the City went off the air, fashionistas have waited for a suitable replacement. Itching for high fashion drama and waiting for characters to look up to and emulate, we have been patient. Nina Garcia and Tim Gunn announce the weekly challenge and this episode leaves the designers with horrible fashion trends and teams of three that must work together to create a collection of three items that incorporate all three outdated looks.

The teams are Kit, Christian, and Jack; Victorya, Sobbing-Ricky, and Weirdo-Elisa; Steven, Sweet Pea, and Chris; Jillian, Straight-Kevin, and Rami. With a budget of only $225 and two days the designers are charged with selecting a leader and reversing fashion no-nos.

Some of the fashion combinations play into each other very well and some groups are able to put each faux pas into each design. Some other teams have more restrictive designs and will have to break each design into its own piece and unify them in another way.

We do have a little insight into Sobbing-Ricky when we realize that not only was he a modern dancer, but he totally speaks Weirdo-Elisa
