You’ve gotta give credit where it’s due the Pussycat Dolls have taken a raunchy vegas burlesque act, and toned it down and focussed the sex appeal to stay exciting, but keep still Madison Avenue happy. Their ad for the Pontiac Vibe or their new Bally’s Total Fitness Commercial show that the sex kittens have what it takes to bring it to the table. It’s too bad Treasure Island TI couldn’t figure it out with their nightly street side Sirens Pirate Show, sexy pirates (both men and women) would have really been hot (and profitable) during the Johnny Depp Pirates of the Caribbean era …

Louis Vuitton Commercial

Sometimes part of the allure of overpaying buying and exclusive brand name product like Louis Vuitton is the elite status it confers on you. Other times you realize it’s a complete waste of money and you would have been better off shopping at your local Target. When I see commercials like this and I imagine some beret wearing director who was trying to channel his inner Federico Fellini into creating an ego stroking over priced art project artistic vision befitting the Louis Vuitton brand, I hang my head. Why not just come out and say “Hey be sure to waste your money on our bags, we have big advertising budgets to support”.
